Not a T.V Unit.
It might seem an odd way to describe a piece of furniture, by what it isn’t, but it’s a way of tipping my design hat to the original brief from the client. Having moved into a much smaller residence my client commissioned several pieces one of which was a cabinet to house their television. The brief changed several times as they settled into their new abode and figured where they were spending their time and what furniture went where.
This corner cabinet design evolved to become what you see now, a HiFi unit. Using the same solid black-butt timbers as the other commissions, along with a modern coloured melamine. This unique design makes use of a cantilever in the corner and is entirely connected using one of a kind handmade copper right angled bolts.
